Hanger's Winter Championship Run Up in Smoke

(February 2, 2025) Winchester, Tennessee ace Christian Hanger wheeled a Mark Bangs-owned #376 machine on Saturday afternoon, February 1 at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee. The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series (SAS) presided over the tour's season opener and a $5,000 winner's check was up for grabs.

Christian knocked down the sixth quickest time overall during qualifying and later rolled off from the outside of the third row in the 40-lap main event. He then had a strong podium run going in the 'Winter Championships' before going up in smoke late in the feature distance. Christian Hanger Opens Up 2025 in Ice Bowl XXXIV

(January 5, 2025) Christian Hanger, of Winchester, Tennessee, opened up his 2025 campaign from January 2-4 in the annual running of the 'Ice Bowl' at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. In Super Late Model competition, Christian clicked off the second fastest lap in Group A during the qualifying session, but unfortunately suffered motor issues while preparing for the heat race on Friday. Christian was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program and unfortunately missed out on the 50-lap main event that was won by Sam Seawright, who pocketed $7,500 for his efforts.

Behind the wheel of a Limited Late Model, "Highside Hank" laid down the third quickest time in Group A during qualifying, but a rock unfortunately went through his radiator during the heat race. Due to the bout of bad luck, Christian was dropped to an eleventh place finish in his heat and he later chose to scratch from the remainder of the $2,500 to win program. Season-Ending Gobbler Nets Hanger Sixth Place Finish

(November 24, 2024) Christian Hanger and his #29 team wrapped up their version of the 2024 racing season on Saturday, November 23 at Duck River Raceway Park. The annual running of the 'Gobbler' took place yesterday at the Wheel, Tennessee venue and a $6,000 payday was up for grabs for the ground-pounding Super Late Models. Christian knocked down the fourth fastest time in Group B during the qualifying session to earn the outside of the fourth row for the start of the 40-lap feature. Rearend Drain Plug Spoils TNR Performance

(November 17, 2024) Christian Hanger Racing invaded Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, Tennessee on Saturday evening, November 16 for the track's season finale. The Super Late Model portion of the program ran unsanctioned and shelled out a $6,000 first place prize.

Christian Hanger posted the second quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session to earn the inside of the second row for the start of the 40-lap feature. Christian then led the first five circuits of the contest and was racing hard for a podium finish when he unfortunately pulled off the racing surface on lap 27 due to a faulty rearend drain plug. The mechanical trouble dropped the Winchester, Tennessee ace to a disappointing twelfth place performance. Top Ten for Hanger in Hunt the Front Finale!

(November 3, 2024) Christian Hanger, of Winchester, Tennessee, helped wrap up the 2024 version of the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series (HTF) schedule on November 1-2 at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee. On Friday night with a $10,000 payday up for grabs, Christian ran seventh in his heat race, third in his consolation event, and seventeenth in the 50-lap feature. Christian Hanger Battles Red Clay Series Foes

(October 6, 2024) Christian Hanger Racing made the short trek to Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on October 4-5 for the 'Big Deal 602 Classic.' On Friday night during preliminary action for the Red Clay Series, Christian Hanger timed in seventeenth quickest in Group A during qualifying prior to advancing to sixth in his heat race. After securing a triumph in his B-Main on Saturday evening, Christian rolled off from the inside of the ninth row in the $10,000 to win 602 Late Model headliner. At the completion of the 75-lapper, the Winchester, Tennessee ace found himself right where he started... in the seventeenth position. Top Ten for Hanger in Mark Fields Memorial Finale

(September 22, 2024) Following a twenty-fourth place showing in Thursday's annual 'Scorcher' at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, the Christian Hanger Racing team invaded Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tennessee on September 20-21. The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series sanctioned the 'Mark Fields Memorial,' which kicked off on Friday night with a $5,000 to win program. Christian Hanger unfortunately missed out on the 30-lap feature event after qualifying fourteenth quickest in Group B and running eighth in his consolation race.

With a $15,000 top prize up for grabs in the weekend finale on Saturday evening, Christian knocked down the second fastest lap in Group A during time trials prior to securing an impressive victory in his loaded heat race. (September 8, 2024) After last week's disappointment, Christian Hanger bounced back in a big way on Saturday evening, September 7 at the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee! The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) sanctioned the annual 'Buddy Rogers Memorial' and 20 Super Late Model competitors piled into the pit area at the Volunteer State bullring. Christian laid down the third fastest lap overall during the qualifying session and later started the 44-lap headliner from the inside of the second row. The Winchester, Tennessee ace then muscled past early leader Dakotah Knuckles to lead lap eleven and never looked back. Christian beat David Payne, Dalton Cook, Pierce McCarter, and Austin Neely to the checkered flag to bag the $5,044 first place prize! (September 2, 2024) Christian Hanger Racing returned to action on Sunday, September 1 at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee. The unsanctioned 'Sam Pugh Memorial' took place yesterday at the Volunteer State oval and a $6,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Christian Hanger knocked down the second quickest time during the Super Late Model qualifying session to earn the outside of the front row for the 40-lap main event. The Winchester, Tennessee ace then led each and every circuit in the contest - even with a lack of power steering in the second half of the race. Unfortunately, Christian was disqualified in post-race technical inspection for a deck height violation (1/16-inch too high) and was relegated to a disappointing twenty-first place performance. (August 11, 2024) Christian Hanger and his #29 team dipped south to North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama on August 9-10 for the annual running of the 'King of the Crate.' The Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series presided over the two-day extravaganza and 24 604 Crate Late Model competitors were on hand to vie for the $10,000 first place prize. Christian clicked off the fastest lap in his group during qualifying on Friday night prior to picking up a heat race triumph. Hanger Tackles Deep Fried 75 Weekend at Duck River

(August 4, 2024) After taking several weekends off from racing action, Christian Hanger Racing invaded Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on August 2-3 for the annual running of the 'Deep Fried 75.' The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series sanctioned the doubleheader weekend, which kicked off on Friday night with a $5,000 to win preliminary event. Christian Hanger laid down the fourth quickest time in Group A during qualifying to earn the inside of the fourth row for the start of the 30-lap feature. At the end of the contest, the Winchester, Tennessee ace was paid for an eleventh place performance in the weekend opener.

On Saturday evening at Duck River Raceway Park, a whopping $20,000 winner's check was on the line in the 'Deep Fried 75' grand finale. Christian timed in fifteenth quickest in Group A during qualifying before running eighth in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main. (July 14, 2024) One sole event was on the racing calendar for this weekend, as Christian Hanger invaded Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tennessee on Saturday evening, July 13. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) rolled into the Volunteer State oval to preside over the 'July Spectacular,' which boasted a $10,000 first place prize. Christian stopped the clock thirteenth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session and later finished fifth in his loaded heat race. Following a triumph in his B-Main, Christian started the 50-lap headliner from the outside of the ninth row. (July 8, 2024) Christian Hanger Racing was ultra-busy from July 2-7 - primarily on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour - and amassed a pair of top five finishes and one additional top ten performance. Christian Hanger's best effort of the long week came on Sunday, July 7 in an unsanctioned contest at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee. Christian laid down the fourth quickest lap in Group A during the qualifying session prior to passing five competitors during the 40-lap 'Independence Day Special' headliner. At the checkers, the Winchester, Tennessee ace found himself in the runner-up spot behind only $6,000 victor Camaron Marlar!

In "Hell Tour" action earlier in the week, Christian finished sixth on Tuesday at Old No. 1 Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas, twelfth on Thursday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, thirteenth on Friday at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky, and fourth on Saturday at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee. In his split-field, $5,000 to win preliminary program on Friday night, Christian Hanger laid down the seventeenth quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying session before picking off a trio of competitors in his 25-lap feature to place fourteenth in the final rundown. (June 16, 2024) Christian Hanger, of Winchester, Tennessee, celebrated in victory lane for the third time in 2024 on Saturday night, June 15 at the nearby Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee! Christian knocked down the second quickest lap in Group A during Topless Outlaws Dirt Racing Series qualifying, which earned him the inside of the second row for the start of the 40-lap main event. Christian then grabbed the top spot on lap three and never looked back in leading the remainder of the contest to bag the $4,000 first place prize money. Finishing behind his #29 machine at the checkers was runner-up Jadon Frame, Jordan Judge, Brad Skinner, and Logan Brown!
