Hanger Sets Fast Time; Leads Early in Xtreme DIRTcar Series Event at Modoc
(February 28, 2021) Christian Hanger Racing returned to the Super Late Model scene on Saturday night, February 27 at Modoc Raceway in Modoc, South Carolina. The Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series presided over their season finale and a $7,000 paycheck was up for grabs. Christian Hanger clicked off the quickest lap overall of the 29 entrants during the qualifying session to earn Fast Time honors and later secured an impressive victory in his loaded heat race. After drawing the pole position before the start of the 40-lap headliner, Christian led the first two circuits of the race before eventually suffering a flat tire as a result of some contact early in the contest. Christian Hanger Leads Early at Moulton; Lapped Car Costs Shot at $3,000...
(February 8, 2021) The #29 team ventured to Moulton Speedway in Moulton, Alabama from February 5-7 for the inaugural running of the 'Winter Breeze Classic.' The 604 Crate Late Models drew a strong field of competitors to vie for the $3,000 winner's check. Christian Hanger posted the third quickest time overall during the qualifying session on Friday night and later secured a victory in the fast dash for cash. After Saturday's action was postponed by rain and inclement weather, Christian rolled off from the pole position in Sunday's finale. The Winchester, Tennessee ace took the lead early in the contest and had a great shot at collecting his first win of the young 2021 season, but he was chopped by a lapped car and wound up placed fifteenth in the final finishing order with a battered racecar. Opening Lap Incident in Cabin Fever at Boyd's Speedway Dooms Hanger...
(January 31, 2021) The Christian Hanger Racing team returned to action on Saturday, January 30 in the annual running of the 'Cabin Fever' race at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series sanctioned the single-day throwdown and 43 competitors showed up to do battle in the $4,000 to win special. Christian Hanger clicked off the fastest lap in Group A during the Super Late Model qualifying session before rolling off from the pole position in the 40-lap headliner. After beating Randy Weaver to the first turn on both starts of the contest, contact by Weaver on the second start caused the #29 machine to spin and Christian was sent to the back of the pack by series officials. Upset by both the contact and the call to relegate him to the rear, the Winchester, Tennessee native soldiered on to finish fifteenth in the final rundown at the Chattanooga-area oval. Christian Hanger Sees Strong Ice Bowl Run Wiped Out by Mechanical Trouble
(January 11, 2021) Christian Hanger, of Winchester, Tennessee, once again wheeled Joe Denby's #27 Capital racecar on January 9-10 in the 30th edition of the 'Ice Bowl' at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. A total of 32 Super Late Models converged at TST for the multi-day special event, which culminated with a $6,000 to win feature event. On Saturday during preliminary action, Christian laid down the third quickest lap in his group during qualifying prior to grabbing the third transfer spot through his stacked heat race.

In Sunday's 50-lap main event, Christian started tenth on the grid in the unsanctioned contest and had clawed his way into the top five before a shock mount issue caused him to retire from the 'Ice Bowl.' Hanger Streaks to Hangover Runner-Up Effort to Kick Off 2021 Campaign!
(January 3, 2021) Less than a month after his 2020 season finale, Christian Hanger was back in the cockpit on Saturday, January 2 in his 2021 season lid lifter at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee. The annual running of the 'Hangover' took place at the Volunteer State oval and a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs for the Super Late Models. Behind the wheel of a Joe Denby-owned #27 Capital racecar, Christian stopped the clock fourth quickest in Group B during the qualifying session before starting the 50-lap headliner from the outside of the fourth row. On a choppy racing surface - due to several inches of rain on Friday - Christian sported one of the fastest cars on the racetrack throughout the distance, competed for the lead on a couple of different occasions, and settled for an impressive runner-up performance behind only race winner Pierce McCarter!
