Christian Hanger Leads Early at Moulton; Lapped Car Costs Shot at $3,000...
(February 8, 2021) The #29 team ventured to Moulton Speedway in Moulton, Alabama from February 5-7 for the inaugural running of the 'Winter Breeze Classic.' The 604 Crate Late Models drew a strong field of competitors to vie for the $3,000 winner's check. After Saturday's action was postponed by rain and inclement weather, Christian rolled off from the pole position in Sunday's finale. Opening Lap Incident in Cabin Fever at Boyd's Speedway Dooms Hanger...
(January 31, 2021) The Christian Hanger Racing team returned to action on Saturday, January 30 in the annual running of the 'Cabin Fever' race at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series sanctioned the single-day throwdown and 43 competitors showed up to do battle in the $4,000 to win special. Christian Hanger clicked off the fastest lap in Group A during the Super Late Model qualifying session before rolling off from the pole position in the 40-lap headliner. After beating Randy Weaver to the first turn on both starts of the contest, contact by Weaver on the second start caused the #29 machine to spin and Christian was sent to the back of the pack by series officials. Upset by both the contact and the call to relegate him to the rear, the Winchester, Tennessee native soldiered on to finish fifteenth in the final rundown at the Chattanooga-area oval.
